Very often children and adolescents, particularly those who are active and participate in athletics, sustain damage at one time or another to the muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints, bones and nerves of their hands and upper extremities. Hand surgery specialists assess and treat disorders of the hand and upper extremity to reverse the progression of injury and disease and restore mobility and function.

Dr. Chu is affiliated with The Orthopedic Center in Cedar Knolls and sees patients in both NJ and NY. She is a double fellowship trained pediatric orthopedic and hand surgeon and has a special interest in pediatric conditions affecting the hand and upper extremity.
