Knee
Your knee is made up of bones, ligaments, cartilage, and soft tissue and is one of the most complex joints since it has the ability to bend back and forth, rotate left and right, and support us when we stand straight. It’s no wonder that knee pain is a very common complaint—even among children and adolescents.
As they grow, children—especially teenage girls—can experience kneecap pain. Additionally, young athletes, whose joints are still maturing, can suffer knee injuries from overuse or trauma. Our physicians at The Orthopedic Center are highly skilled in treating disorders of the developing knee, offering special expertise that prevents lifelong problems and gets kids up and moving around as quickly as possible.
The Patients' Choice honor is given as a reflection of patients' continued appreciation and praise for the
quality of care and service provided.
