Mark A. Rieger, MD

Dr. Rieger is a board-certified pediatric orthopedist and the senior physician at The Orthopedic Center. Dr. Rieger, whose expertise is matched only by his compassion for his patients, has been recognized as one of NJ Top Docs in the New Jersey and Tristate area by NJ Monthly and Castle and Connelly. He has been honored by his patients and has received the Patient's Choice Award. He has been named as a “Best Doctor in America” by his peers. He has also been acknowledged as one of the top 100 Minimally Invasive Physicians in the Tristate area by New York Magazine for his work in pediatric and adolescent trauma and arthroscopic repair of knee injuries such as ACL and meniscal repair and shoulder injuries such as labral repair.

Dr. Rieger is the only physician in New Jersey to be cited as a preferred provider of the Ponseti nonoperative treatment of clubfeet by the Ponseti International Association. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU Langone Medical Center where he performs Scoliosis surgery. He has served as Pediatric Orthopedic Division Chief at Morristown Memorial Hospital and lectures extensively to physicians, nurses, physical therapists and trainers. He recently returned from an international mission to teach medical professionals and heal children and is involved in planning future medical missions to underserved regions around the world. Dr. Rieger has used his years of experience and expertise in trauma, sports medicine, arthroscopy, scoliosis, clubfeet and hip disorders to fulfill his life mission of using his skills to improve the welfare of children throughout the world.
